A Richmond Heights homeowner found a great deal on a grill at Lowe’s but wasn’t confident about putting it together. They called Colin Can Help to handle the assembly so they could enjoy their purchase without taking on the project themselves.
I unpacked the grill, assembled it, connected the propane tank, and hauled away the packaging. The grill was together in just under an hour, just before dark and in time for dinner. The customer even invited me to stick around for a burger, so I got to see the finished grill put to use.
Assembling the New Grill
This project was about taking care of the entire setup, not just tightening the last few screws. The client provided the Master Forge 2 -Burner Liquid Propane Gas Grill and I took care of everything else.
The service included:
-
Unpacking the grill and its components.
-
Following the manufacturer’s assembly instructions.
-
Assembling the frame, grill body, shelves, and remaining components.
-
Connecting the customer’s propane tank.
-
Gathering and hauling away the packaging.
The parts weren’t labeled as clearly as they could have been, but I was able to work through the instructions and get everything together without much trouble.
The customer didn’t have to sort through the hardware, figure out which piece went where, or deal with the empty box afterward.

Finished in Time for Dinner
The assembly took just under an hour. By the time I finished, the customer had an assembled grill instead of a box of parts, and we were able to put it to use for dinner.
Getting invited to stay for a burger was a nice bonus. It also made this a memorable project: a customer got help with something they weren’t comfortable tackling, and we wrapped it up with a meal together.

More Than Grill Assembly
My approach to assembly work is simple: if it has instructions, I’ll assemble it.
Whether you have one small item or a larger assembly project, send the details so we can figure out the right amount of time to schedule. A straightforward project may fit the base assembly service, while a bigger job may be better suited to a helper plan.
