While performing a routine exterior clean-up for a client in June 2025, we noticed something serious: a front entry platform had significant wood rot—bad enough to create a hole through one side and decay across both platforms. The old boards were absorbing water, attracting insects, and creating a potential entry point for small animals. Not to mention the safety risk.

We immediately brought it to the homeowner’s attention, explained what we found, and provided a straightforward quote to remove and replace the damaged wood.

• Removed all rotted wood on both the left and right sides of the entry area

• Rebuilt the platforms with fresh, durable lumber

• Painted and sealed all surfaces and edges to prevent future water damage

• Cleaned up and hauled away all old materials—no mess left behind

We made sure the new surface was properly pitched and sealed to help shed water, not collect it. By sealing the perimeter edges as well, we added extra protection against future rot and insect intrusion.
