Overseeding

We spread fresh, high-quality grass seed over your existing lawn to fill in thin areas and improve overall density. Perfect for boosting curb appeal and helping your lawn crowd out weeds naturally over time.

Spot Repair / Patch Seeding

Bare or damaged spots? We prep the soil, rake out debris, and seed the area by hand. Ideal for pet damage, foot traffic areas, or rough patches from past projects. Includes a light topdressing if needed to help with germination.

Full-Lawn Reseeding

For lawns that are more bare than full. We mow low, dethatch if needed, and broadcast seed over the entire yard to help you start fresh. Often paired with topdressing for better soil contact and moisture retention.

Healthy Lawns Start With New Seed

If you want a thick, healthy lawn, adding new grass seed isn’t optional — it’s essential. Most cities (including ours) won’t let you grow grass tall enough for it to go to seed naturally, which means your lawn can’t reseed or regenerate on its own. Over time, older grass thins out, dies off, and leaves room for weeds to move in.

That’s where we come in. Overseeding gives your lawn the fresh start it needs by introducing new, vigorous grass varieties that thicken the turf, crowd out weeds, and improve resilience through the seasons.

Think of it like this: if you’ve never added seed to your lawn, it’s like expecting an aging community to thrive without ever welcoming in younger generations. No matter how healthy the older grass is, it still needs backup — and that new seed brings life, energy, and long-term strength to your yard.

We don’t use chemicals or shortcuts — just smart timing, proper prep, and great seed that fits your soil and sunlight. Whether you need a full reseed, patch repair, or seasonal overseeding, Colin Can Help gives your lawn the reinforcements it’s been missing.

Colin’s Guide to Greener Grass:

Mow High, Not Short

Cutting your grass too low weakens the roots and invites weeds. We mow at the proper height to build thicker turf and deeper roots.

Feed Your Lawn the Natural Way

We don’t rely on chemicals. Instead, we improve soil health through overseeding, compost topdressing, and smart mowing habits that work with nature — not against it.

Water Less — But Smarter

Frequent light watering leads to weak roots. Deep, infrequent watering helps your lawn become stronger, greener, and more drought-tolerant.

Aerate & Overseed Twice a Year

We recommend core aeration and overseeding every spring and fall to refresh your lawn with new grass growth and reduce compaction over time.

Spot Seed Whenever You Can Water

Got more than a few things to toss? Our bulk pickup pricing is based on how much space your junk takes up in our trailer. It’s a fair, flexible option for anything from garage cleanups to big move-outs.

Don’t Skip the Cleanup

Leaves, clumps, and leftover debris smother your lawn. We always clean paved areas and offer seasonal yard cleanup to help your lawn breathe and bounce back.
