It has been a blast creating the 105 Publishing Website. It has been an ongoing project for the last year or so but is just making its way into the portfolio section of the site. Ever since the initial design, Jason from 105 will ask for additions or revisions to a page to better fit his clients.

The goal of the site was to make a digital representation of the 105 Publishing mission. They wanted to have a modern and professional look, the ability to teach, showcase their authors, showcase all the services 105 Publishing offers, and be on a platform that could grow as the company grows.

I was very fortunate that Jason, the CEO gave me near full creative control. I think all creators do their best work when given a set of “must-have” elements and to let their minds do the rest.

Through working on this site and other projects for 105 Publishing I have learned a lot about how the book industry and how self-publishing works. Also due to this project, I’ve received many author referrals for websites and other services.

The best part of this site creating referrals isn’t the ones that I received. I am so happy to learn that multiple people chose to work with their publishing company due to the professional appearance of their site!

If you need any website services or advice, let me know!
